Kerry doesn’t get called a knock out just because of her beauty! Modern day heroines and super heros need beware: Kerry McCormick has arrived and she’s packing the goods! This baby girl of a male dominated family can handle herself in any situation! She’s not all talk: she’s ALL ACTION!!! She’s sky-dived tandem and bungee jumped! Inspired by the film, ”Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon” for the martial arts and imagery, this tough talking biracial black belt excels at mixed martial arts consisting of wrestling, muay thai & kick boxing. The intense storyline of “American Beauty”, demonstrative of the ironies in people’s lives lead Kerry to find her dream career in acting!
“I love acting because it frees my spirit; it teaches me things about myself, my strengths, weaknesses, biases and beliefs.”
Kerry can compete physically; doing many of her own stunts or mentally challenge you using her advanced degrees and scholastic standing, Magna Cum Laude, MBA in International Business, and Member of the Alpha Chi Honor Society. This Jennifer Beals, Gloria Reuben look a-like actor is well traveled and loves absorbing the culture wherever she goes.
Does your film need a European flair? Her travels have been more unusual ports of call than the regular vacationer. Recently she has been to Copenhagen, Berlin, Ireland, Scotland, Krakow and Warsaw Poland, Vienna, Prague & Budapest. “I studied Hinduism in college. I like what it represents, that we are part of a collective universe physically, mentally and spiritually.”
But don’t let her rockin’ biceps fool ya! Kerry is a nurturing, suburban mom who just happens to play basketball & run cross country! Which gives new meaning to, ”I’ll go run and get a gallon of milk!” Her feminine side, more Jolie than Jennifer, appears in roles other beauties just can’t pull off! Decades of dance and a lifelong study of yoga have led to her being cast as a sexy vampire.
Kerry’s love of animals shows a caring, thoughtful woman. “I volunteer weekly at the Second Chance SPCA which rescues dogs and cats from being euthanized at other shelters so they can be adopted. I have 2 cats, Jack and Carlin and they are my babies!”
She explains her tattoos & piercings are an expression of herself: her tolerance of pain, and a demonstration of power and rebellion against the status quo. “My body art is a simple extension of me. It can be wild or subtle, depending on how I am cast. Originally a reminder of the rebellious person that I was and still am, but I have evolved.”
